Hidden underneath a well fitted sheet metal enclosure is an impressive 1” by 3” solid steel welded internal frame, which gives the Precision Series an incredibly stable foundation.
This product family is perfect for applications like machine inspection, vision guided pick and place, laser welding, fiber aligners, coordinate measuring machines, wafer inspection, and many other high quality tools.
The Precision Series has several standard features that make the machine design and build process much easier. One of these features is the modular work surface mount system. Rubber, steel, aluminum, and air vibration isolation systems can all be used on this platform. These mounts can be attached to aluminum, steel, granite, or composite work surfaces, up to 4” thick. Sicron can also provide custom work surface machining, which further speeds up the machine build process.
